Name: Aquiel
Nicknames: Awks
Age: 4 years old
Pack: Sandy Shores
Rank: Betess (potentially)
Power: Hydrokinesis - Aquiel has the ability to manipulate the element of water. Being that she cannot create water, she has to be within proximity to water to use this ability. Her hydrokinetic ability also allows her to control weather to a certain extent. In fact, she's been known to bring rain to drought-striken areas.
Looks: Aquiel is very slender and sleek wolf with a body that is completely colored in deep sea blue. Her fur is extremely water repellent so at times other wolves mistake her for not having any fur because it is so fine and thick that it looks like actual skin. Aquiel’s main appendage that attracts a lot of attention is her giant tail that looks similar to a dolphin fin. This tail allows her to swim at high speeds in water whether it be attacking prey or eluding an enemy. Another interesting feature on her body is the markings on her hind legs. On each of her rear thighs, a large water droplet marking graces her beauty in the hue of a much darker blue. This no doubt signifies the wolf’s affinity for the water. In the light, Aquiel's fur also shines because of its wet-like texture and at times she tends to be overtly bright and can be a nuisance to other wolves because of the obnoxious glinting---this is natural because her fur is naturally wet in texture giving her the water repellent quality. Across Aquiel's chest she also possesses a large red streak that goes from one front thigh to the other---being the only color standing out from her different shades of blue. Also rising from her paws, Aquiel has water droplet shapes---that almost look like blue flames. This shade of blue is darker than the rest of her body. Overall, Aquiel is a mid-sized wolf, while she may not appear intimidating to most---her large tail tends to be enough to scare away any threat.
Personality: Aquiel has a very fiery personality despite the fact that she is closely affiliated with the water element. Granted that contradiction makes her personality all the more unique. Aquiel often makes one decision yet manages to change it as quickly as she made it, making her very undecided most of the time in her actions. This type of random way of thinking makes it confusing to those who try to strike up a conversation with her, not to mention it really confuses her enemies in battle. While the enemy may think Aquiel is going to pull off a certain move, secretly in her mind she could be changing it randomly.
Another defining personality trait that Aquiel possesses is her strong sense of pride as well as loyalty to whomever she serves under. This aquatic wolf knows that she is no pushover and she completely understands what she is capable of, even if others tend to underrate her because of her rather sleek and beautiful appearance. Generally if she disagrees with a superior and finds their judgment to be flawed she will make a decision based off from her own understanding and knowledge without their consent.
One major part of Aquiel’s personality that she prefers to conceal is the fact that she’s extremely self-conscious about her appearance.
Family: N/A that she's currently aware of
History: Aquiel’s history has been far from a happy experience. When she was born into the world as a pup, Aquiel’s parents abandoned her because of her apparent physical defect (her tail fin). Neither of her parents possessed any sort of feature so Aquiel having such a drastically different appendage struck fear into their hearts. While her parents did not fear their child technically, they feared the ridicule they’d face from other wolves in the area. And that was what they received when Aquiel attempted to interact with other puppies. Her larger size, and overt tail fin caused the younglings to fear her---which rallied anger from those pup's parents. Eventually her parents could not take the ridicule and overbearing complaints about their daughter. No matter what they did to adhere Aquiel's tail to her body, it was too large and heavy to actually stick.
So on one rainy evening during a downpour, Aquiel’s mother took the wolf by the scruff of the neck and sat her somewhere between distant marshlands and the forest region in hopes that she would find her own way in life without any sort of family. Feeling ashamed of her own physical defect, Aquiel retreated to theese marshlands for a time so she could hide from wolven society and only make appearances during hectic downpours or thunderstorms. Seeing this wolf during clear weather was such a rarity, hence why many wolves have claimed to only have seen her glowing sapphire eyes in the misty rains of the marshes.
To this day Aquiel struggles with the everyday burden of making appearances to any wolven kin, granted she has developed a great deal of confidence since that painful day that still remains a scar in her past.
Ever since she was a small child one of Aquiel's major dreams is to be a pack leader. Ever since her parents abandoned her she has always had the potent desire to make others happy, or proud of her. Psychologically, Aquiel is this way because her parents were not satisfied with her---so in order to make up for that void she has tried her hardest despite her anti-socialness to make herself known and referred by other wolves.
